Varun Dhawan Justifies Not Wearing A Helmet While Riding A Scooty; Responds To A Fan Who Questioned Him
Varun Dhawan has been busy gearing up for his upcoming film with father David Dhawan. The actor will soon star opposite Sara Ali Khan in David Dhawan’s remake of the 1995 film Coolie No. 1 starring Govinda and Karisma Kapoor. Recently, after Varun took to his social media to share a video featuring David Dhawan and him enjoying a scooty ride on sets of Coolie No. 1, a fan took to social media to urge Mumbai Police to fine Varun for not wearing a helmet while riding. The actor has now taken to social media to give a befitting reply to the fan and justify not wearing it.

While the entire country saw Varun Dhawan and David Dhawan’s fun banter on the sets of Coolie No. 1, a certain fan of the actor got major issues over Varun not following Traffic rules. A fan took to Twitter to urge Mumbai Police to take action against Varun Dhawan as he was not wearing a helmet while riding a scooter on sets. When Varun came across this fan’s request on social media, the actor took to his Twitter to justify not wearing a helmet while driving. The Kalank actor tweeted, “Mera over enthusiastic twitter ke dost mein bike road pe Nahi ek set pe chala raha hoon Woh bhi 12-second ke liye.” The befitting reply by the actor to the fan clearly justifies Varun’s reason for not wearing a helmet for a 12-second set ride with his father and proves that the actor observes traffic rules and regulations as a responsible citizen. Varun is not the first person receiving a backlash from a fan for not wearing a helmet while riding. As the country is facing massive distress due to the increased traffic fines by the Police, earlier, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma was also fined for violating traffic rules.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Varun is busy shooting Coolie No. 1 with co-star Sara Ali Khan. This monsoon, the actor wrapped up the shooting schedule of his Remo D’Souza film Street Dancer 3D. Directed by David Dhawan, Coolie No. 1 is the director’s 45th film and is scheduled to release on May 1, 2020.
